The collaboration between Abu Dhabi Ports (AD Ports) and Green Mountains started back in 2012, when we started collection of waste and housekeeping in Zayed Port, Free Port, Musaffah and Multiple Slipway area. This collaboration expanded in 2023 to include the Industrial City of Abu Dhabi (ICAD) which is located in the outskirts of Abu Dhabi city spreading over an area spanning over 40 square km. Green Mountains collects and transfer the waste, sweep the roads, remove the sand and pick up the litter from ICAD area. The scattered and widespread sites requires Green Mountains to deploy 83 staff member, 10 vehicles, and 88 skip/bins in addition to the customer owned bins which counted in hundreds.
